Introduction of D’oh! Moments

This is the first, probably in a series, of what I will be calling “D’oh! Moments”.  While I don’t really agree with much of the content on the series, the writers of the Simpsons have given us a word to use on bad days.  In the script of the Simpsons, this word is referenced as “annoyed grunt”.

It’s even been added to the Oxford English dictionary as ridiculous as that sounds with the caption of “expressing frustration at the realization that things have turned out badly or not as planned, or that one has said or done something foolish”.

As weird as us humans are, by hearing about other people’s “D’oh” moments, it gives us something to laugh about and makes us realize that none of us are perfect and will all mess up at some point.

Enjoy these “D’oh!” moments and please feel free to share other hilarious stories as you find them.

Servant of a wicked cool God,

Matt Legere
